Public & Patient Involvement
We’re always looking to improve how we engage with local people. Patient and public participation is at the very heart of the way NHS Northamptonshire Clinical Commissioning Group operates.
If you’d like to be involved on a regular basis, our CCG Membership allows you to keep updated on opportunities to have your say on the development of local healthcare.
The CCG also take these conversations to the public in a number of other ways:
- Visiting busy public places, including supermarkets, cafes, libraries and sports venues
- Running surveys – both face-to-face and online
- Holding workshops
- Visiting a wide range of community groups, meetings and events.
Every part of the population matters to us. The CCG has worked with our partners in Northamptonshire to build a network of contacts for those parts of the population which are heard less often. We continue to grow the network and build on these relationships.
Every year we also hold an Annual General Meeting which is open to the public. Here we talk about what we have achieved over the past 12 months and our plans for the coming year. It’s also another opportunity to ask us questions about healthcare services for Northamptonshire people.
We’re currently working on our events calendar for 2019/20 and will post more details here soon. If you’d like us to provide an update on healthcare services at a meeting or event you’re staging, please contact us.
If you have a comment or question about any aspect of Northamptonshire NHS, please let us know via the contact us form.
